Welcome to the Tournoi du Falcon Noir 2017! The clash of swords and ring of steel awaits in the rustic foothills of Colorado Springs at Glen Eryie Castle. Join us by registering today through our registration link in the main menu.
The Black Falcon School of Arms is excited to host our second annual Deed of Arms. We will be featuring both armored and unarmored combat, and festivities include a catered lunch, with time allowances for open challenges. We ask that participants wear period appropriate attire, but there is no dress code for those attending as spectators. We welcome all to join, participate, and watch.
The Black Falcon School of Arms is a non-profit organization dedicated to researching and reconstructing historical European martial arts, with branches in Colorado Springs, CO and Manhattan, KS. We focus on recreating the art of late medieval and early Renaissance English longsword combat. We pursue our goal through research of texts, images and artifacts from the period along with cooperation and support from the greater European martial arts community.
Our organization hosts regular practices on Saturday mornings and Wednesday nights, so visit our social media links below to find out how to become involved with our organization. We are always accepting novices, and our students work together to support the learning and appreciation of the art on multiple levels.
